R-E-S-U-L-T-S!! And They Say A Picture Is Worth 1000 Words

I’ve taken some time to think over my 60 day experience and how happy I am that I went through with it. It’s finally time for the results episode, and I am decided to be brave and offer up my before and after photos. I do this with the hope that you will see how I’m moving in the direction of progress, and not look at the before photos and say “Yikes!” the way I do.

But first, the benefits! This is simply a list of things I notice as being improved from before my 60Day to now….

-No More Allergies!!! (I’ve felt it a bit yesterday and today, but its nothing like it used to be. I am thinking if I increase to two juices a day most days of the week it will go back to totally reversed)

-Sleep more soundly, more restful and rejuvenating sleep

-More energy overall

-Easier time breathing, slower to get out of breath

-Skin feels softer, smoother, and generally less breakouts

-Stronger, more muscles!

-See better without glasses than with them now!

-Hair and nails are stronger and more healthy

-Better attitude, almost no more dramatic emotion swings like before, and lots less crying all the time. I’m just a crier (for everything happy or sad) but that has cooled down quite a bit.

-Increased enthusiasm about life in general

-HUGE appreciation for and desire to eat more (and a wider variety of) fruits and veggies. LOVE blueberries, avacado, eggplant and am comfortable with fennel, beets, spinach, and lots of leafy greens- none of which I would even touch before.

-Confidence is crazy boosted

-No more back/body pain

-Heightened awareness of health-related topics. All that research and study has taught be a lot. Im no longer totally oblivious to the stats of what I’m eating and feeding my body

-No sickness or colds- I used to get one about every two or three months, nothing at this point!

-Most of my clothes no longer fit! I’m on the smallest option hole on my belt and even then things are loose

As for the numbers, which totally shocked me (keeping in mind it was only 2 months!)

And here it is, the photots (as some of you asked for)

Before———————————————————After

Before——————————————————After

Before—————————————————–After

Before—————————————————-After

It’s hard for me to look at even the after photos and not continue to nitpick, but looking at the next to each other makes me focus on the before pictures realizing I didn’t quite realize it was that bad.

Overall I am super excited about this journey. The support and encouragement I have received from a whole host of people has been incredible and I don’t know that doing it on my own, solely relying on my own self-control, would have seen me through to the end, to these results. I FEEL SO MUCH HEALTHIER! That means.. GOAL ACCOMPLISHED! I will just say it- I’m SO proud of myself, and of corse thankful for all of you for following along and encouraging every step of the way.

Like I said, stay tuned for more breaking news. I am praying over a decision right now and when I feel in the next few days that my decision is made I will put it out there for you all to hear. But I’ll leave you with this teaser….. (I know I’m super cheesy, but I’m sticking with the television show thing) There are rumors of a possible Season 2 coming to WordPress soon!

Chica, you are amazing! I think you need to take a minute to absorb the fact that you are so much stronger than you realize (though I always knew it!) and you can do anything you put your mind to! Let that realization become a part of how you think and trust in that inner strength. I love you so much and I’m so proud of you. Take care of you!

What a Big Hairy Audacious Goal you set for yourself, and what amazing results!! Being an allergy sufferer, I am shocked that you’ve overcome so much of that, AND the back pain, AND the added enthusiasm . . . . and on and on! So proud! And inspired! I love to see anyone LIVE LIFE INTENTIONALLY and respect and honor the incredible gift that God gave you in your physical body. Can’t wait to see what the next B.H.A.G. will be!
